After four careers and twenty years, I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up. Writing fiction—specifically romance and romantic fantasy—feels like home to me.

The journey to get here wasn’t easy. Like so many parents, once I had kids, reading and writing became the last things on my mind. I didn’t pick up a book for nearly ten years. Then chronic health issues (thanks, COVID) knocked me down hard. I needed something—anything—that gave me a break from the stress, the uncertainty, the constant worry. So I picked up a book. Then another. And another. Reading became my lifeline. It let me disappear into other worlds when my own felt overwhelming. It gave me reprieve. It helped me breathe again.

At some point, I realized maybe other people were looking for that same kind of escape. So I started writing the stories I love most—full of magic, passion, danger, and heart, always with a happily ever after. That’s how The Sunbound Saga was born, with the first book set to release in Fall 2026.

When I’m not writing, you can usually find me with my nose in a book on my favorite spot on the front porch. If I’m not binge-reading, I’m probably at the little league fields with the other moms, snuggling my pup Odie, or wandering the beautiful Pacific Northwest looking for inspiration.
